THE EMBASSY OF GEORGIA IN NEW DELHI WOULD LIKE TO INFORM POTENTIAL VISA APPLICANTS THAT AN APPROVAL FROM AUTHORITIES IN GEORGIA IS NECESSARY FOR PROCESSING A VISA APPLICATION AND IT REQUIRES UP TO 20 WORKING DAYS

VISA APPLICANTS ARE ADVISED TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS WELL IN ADVANCE

Types of visas available:

• Ordinary Study Visa

Ordinary and Study visas are issued to persons intending to travel to Georgia for Study or other purposes.

For obtaining an Ordinary Visa, citizens of the Republic of India should submit the following documents:

• Genuine Invitation Letter from Georgia (in case of students - Admission Letter from a University/Institution);
• 2 Copies of duly filled Application Forms with two recent 3X4 size photographs of the applicant;
• Two copies of the applicant's passport;
• Receipt certifying that the visa fee has been paid;
• Travel Insurance valid in Georgia;
• Bank Statement of Last six months and a copy of Income Tax Return;
• Two-way ticket booking;
• Hotel Booking or exact address of location where visitor will reside during the trip.
